Edwin Drochner, age 89 of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in TriStar Skyline Medical Center of Nashville, TN.
Edwin was born to Emil and Marie (Lorenz) Drochner on April 14, 1932 in Lithuania. He graduated with an apprentice degree. He married Martha Austin on January 7, 1956 in Chicago, IL and she preceded him in death on April 5, 2018. He was a self-employed mechanic in Tippecanoe, IN, was the Service Manager for Kralis Bros. in Mentone, IN, and worked in the service department at Weirs Truck Repair in Plymouth, IN. He served in the United States Army from 1956 -1958 and was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church of Plymouth, IN.
Edwin is survived by his daughters: Diane (Don) Kennedy of Fallbrook, CA; Monica (Clark) Charlton of Hendersonville, TN; his grandchildren: Reed (Emily) Kennedy; Neal (Jessica) Kennedy; Austin Charlton; Elaina Charlton; Graham Charlton; his great-grandsons: Knox and Arthur; his sisters: Herta Mueller of Chicago, IL; Edith (Frank) Albers of Chicago, IL; Erica Napier of Mission Viejo, CA; his brothers: Harry (Hilda) Drochner of Ft. Myers, FL; and Erich (Joann) Drochner of Canyon, TX.
Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Martha.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church (1314 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Eric Ahlemeyer presiding.
Burial will be at New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN).
