Roberta E. Hostetler, age 92 of Plymouth, IN passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 in Catherine Kasper Life Center of Donaldson, IN.
Roberta was born to Robert and Elva (Wellman) Keiser on August 12, 1929 in Knox, IN. She was a lifetime resident of the area and graduated from La Paz High School in 1947. She married Neal Hostetler on August 24, 1947 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Plymouth, IN. She was an Honorary Member Volunteer for the Civil Air Patrol. She worked as a cook in nursing homes as well as at Anthony’s Restaurant, Chuck and Marie’s, and J & L Grill. She also worked at Kingsbury Ordnance Plant. She enjoyed making dolls, riding motorcycles and spending time with her family.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Neal; her daughters: Sue Ann (John) Palmitessa of Cannon Falls, MN; Selena Foster (Fiancé Scott Leland) of Culver, IN; her sons: Randy (Kathy) Hostetler of Plymouth, IN; Jeffrey (Kathy) Hostetler of Plymouth, IN; Neal (Sandi) Hostetler Jr. of Webster, MN; James Robert Hostetler of Plymouth, IN; Rodney W. Hostetler of Plymouth, IN; her daughter-in-law, Mary Hostetler of Plymouth, IN; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Bruce Keiser of Knox, IN.
Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elva; her son, Dennis Hostetler; 2 grandchildren: Jeremy Hostetler; and David Palmitessa.

Visitation service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).

Graveside service will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. in New Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel (Plymouth, IN) with Pastor Dave Houghton presiding.
