”Stay Focused on Kids, Staff, and Families” says Waukesha School Superintendent, James “Jim” Sebert

WAUKESHA, WI - We are covering breaking news out of Waukesha, Wisconsin where a Red SUV barreled down parade goers. At 4:39 PM on November 21 at Gasper Ave and Main Street a Red SUV drove through barricades headed westbound. It struck nearly 40 people and there are 5 confirmed fatalities at this time.

Superintendent of Waukesha Schools, James Sebert says he is deeply saddened with the tragedy. He thanks his partners at the City, Fire Departments, and Police Departments. He says now is a time to say focused on kids, staff, and families and to stand together as a community.


He said the schools will be sending additional support out during this time. Should a family want and need resources or guidance, they can reach out to the Student Services Department at their Child’s School. They will connect in a timely manner.

Sebert went on to thank surrounding schools, health care facilities, and the Governor's Office for their support. Waukesha Schools will remain closed on Tuesday, however meals are available from noon-1.
