The combination of temperatures from 5 below to 5 above zero and west winds around 10 mph will produce minimum wind chills this morning of 15 to 20 below zero across portions of the area. A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect this morning. Temperatures this afternoon will only rise to around 10 to 15 degrees. Otherwise for today, lake effect snow showers will diminish by midday with additional lake effect snow accumulation of an inch or less. Temperatures will drop back in the single digits above zero tonight but winds will begin to strengthen resulting in wind chills back down to the 5 below to 15 below zero range. Temperatures will moderate for Thursday, but breezy conditions are expected. Another shot of arctic air arrives Thursday night into Friday with some more lake effect snow showers.
